✍🏻 About the Project

For my first-ever hackathon, I teamed up with two people from the University of Indonesia to solve an education problem using Machine Learning. We created esAI.app, a digital writing assistant for Bahasa Indonesia.

As a country with the 8th lowest literacy rate in the world, Indonesia has no writing assistant for its national language, making learning and communication much more difficult for the 200 million users of Bahasa Indonesia all around the globe. esAI.app utilizes NLP to help you write effective Indonesian sentences by correcting grammar, punctuation, and other errors found in your text.

We made it through the finals (top 12 teams), and we won the prize for Honorable Mention (Rp 1.000.000).
